Oleksandr Lavrynovych: Legal Protection of Property Rights is an Indispensable Part of Market Economy
Legal regulation of the state registration of property rights and their restriction is one of the fundamental principles of market economy development in Ukraine. Oleksandr Lavrynovych, First Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the above-mentioned statement during the discussion of a new version of the Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On State Registration of Property Rights for Real Assets, and their Restriction" at the afternoon plenary meeting on 11 February.
"It is one of the fundamental principles of market economy development in Ukraine, as legal protection of rights for real assets is indispensable", - O. Lavrynovych stated. He deems necessary to form a single national register of rights of individuals or legal entities.
O. Lavrynovych stressed that corresponding authorities had not been distributed between certain agencies yet. Therefore, he believes that legislative regulation of this matter will secure further implementation of reforms in the country.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a new version of Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On State Registration of Property Rights for Real Assets, and their Restriction" by 235 votes.
